In celebrating the spirit of National Teacher's Day 2023, GuruInovatif.id organized the Yogyakarta Education Festival on December 22, 2023. This event served as a festival for both students and teachers, featuring a series of school roadshows, educational talkshows, student competitions, and teacher competitions as catalysts for innovation. The event was attended by 892 participants, comprising 113 students and 779 teachers and educational staff. Additionally, an educational exhibition was showcased as a platform for the latest ideas, along with vibrant entertainment to uplift and inspire. Guruinovatif.id hopes that this event could offer appreciation and innovation within the realm of education.

With the theme 'Enhancing The Indonesian Educational Ecosystem Through Innovation and Creativity,' this event serves as a platform for educational professionals, especially students and teachers, to create. The event was attended virtually by Dr. Zulfikar Alimuddin (CEO of GuruInovatif.id), Prof. Dr. Nunuk Suryani, M.Pd, the Director-General of Teachers and Educational Personnel, and attended offline by Ruddy Prakanto, S.Pd., M.Eng (Head of the Education Technology Center, DIY Education Agency), Muhammad Nur Bintoro (Director of Al-Azhar Islamic School Cairo Yogyakarta), Dika Ayu Nur Aisyah (Business and Development Codero), Anis Luthfiyah, S.Psi (Research and Associate at Into The Light), Mada Kartikasari, M.Psi (Counselor at Puspaga Kesengsem Sleman), and Anastasia Arum Sari, M.Pd (Head of PG-TK Pangudi Luhur Yogyakarta). The event's organization is also part of the celebration of National Teacher's Day 2023 by GuruInovatif.id.

There are at least 9 competition activities that enliven the series of events during the Yogyakarta Education Festival, including article writing and instructional video competitions for teachers, coloring competition for kindergarten, storytelling and singing competition for elementary school levels, Indonesian and English speech competition, storytelling competition for junior high school levels, and English speech competition for senior high school levels.

All of these competitions was held from early November to mid-December, culminating in a Talk Show and prize distribution event on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Society Atrium Pakuwon Mall Yogyakarta,' stated Puntoadji, the Project Manager.

This event is also highlighted by an educational talk show featuring three prominent speakers in the field of education. Guided by an experienced moderator, the speakers will provide in-depth insights into the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in education. The talk show offers participants the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and stimulate thinking in collective efforts to advance towards better education.
